I am using my own setup to switch the MEZON on and off im my gliders.
In my Ventus I am now using a YEP controller with BEC on all the time at a standby current of somewhat of 20mA (mainly caused by the LED on the controller board). No problem during a day.
Using the MEZON the standby current is down to about 50-100µA (RC-Switch supply).
I think I have given you the schematic setup of this already. The switch mixer does mor or less the same.

In case the switch at the Mezon is interrupted there is no voltage available which can enable the motor to run. In addition we are talking about brushless motors who need a switched signal to move them.
Statistically the glider burns several times because of a broken LiPo rather than the motor starts running because of any other failure.

I remember for sure your circuit, but this is cutting off the voltage to Mezon and not on power line as Master Switch does.
Correct ? in theory Mezon has no voltage so does NOT open the main power.
Now what is the reason to use Master Switch 100A ? to be very sure to cut off main power to the motor. Correct?
Are we sure that in your way there is no possibility to accidental start ?
I have doubts when for example I put my glider in a seilbahn full of people.....and for my fingers ! I already saw a friend with a propeller in a eye ....now he's only one ! ( was a 4 strokes and propeller wasn't fixed enough).

Let's say if I do not use a CBox I can take in consideration a DSM Esc to mix Mezon and pufferakku and use only one RCswitch connected to a REX Rx. ( and for sure your special set up).

I am able to switch on and off the "system" and be absolutely sure about accidental starts.

Hi Miko,

I am using the Mezon switch line to enable/disable the Mezon completely in my Skywalker with 6s drive. This is AFAIK also done (using a manual plug etc.) by many other users working with a Mezon. To be honest I don't like the idea of switching the inlet power using a power switch.
I usually connect my battery when I saaemble the plane, and I don't think you carry a completely assembled plane in the Seilbahn.
During the day I switch the Plane on/off using the RC-Switch. During disassembly I disconnect the battery and also remove it when I come back home.

There is no absolute safety even not when using a PowerSwitch (this is also just a piece of silicon).

i don't want to use CBox but a REX 10 receiver, RC Switch and Master Mezon, (and your circuit)
I agree with you that the idea to start from home ready to fly and connected is a "forced lazy decision".

I read carefully and translated your Baubericht and I've decided for another motor and no CBox.

This schema from Switch Expander SW4 it's probably the best solution also not using a CB but a Rex10.
Instead of 2 RCSwitches there is an expander to command 2 circuits : RX and power for motor.
It's what I was looking at departure, now I've to evaluate your system, too.

I have the impression you MUST use CB200 in this case, not possible to connect REX10 instead if CB to the expander, but as always not clear stated in Jeti web site.
