+1 from another ex-Multiplex sailplane pilot. This is a basic requirement for any F3B, F3F, F3J, F3K glider pilot.
With my old MC4000, I could use a single butterfly mix to control:
- aileron to flap (to increase roll rate)
- flap to aileron (to allow changing camber of the entire wing)
- flap to elevator (to compensate for camber changes)
- elevator to flap (to increase turn rate)
- elevator to aileron (as above)
plus spoiler stick to aileron/flap/elevator for crow braking. It's a shame on my DS16 that I have to set up a bunch of free mixes instead.
Please also Jeti, if you ever upgrade the butterfly mix, ensure the aileron to flap mix includes aileron differential. The flaps on F3x gliders typically have very little upwards movement, and without differential, this means you can only have very small downward movements when coupled to ailerons.
