After heavy study, I am now biased too!
My eyes are also on the DS12 Carbon Grey with full option package, mainly because of safety reason that it supports the 900NG backup, and in terms of functionality it is comparable to its bigger brother in the range.
Thank you Jannica for your advice, I know I will not go wrong to your similar path.

Here's three features on Jeti that you don't see on many systems:
The accelerometer and voice output are extra cost options for DS-12 and DS-14.
- just move the transmitter to get a telemetry value spoken (using accelerometer for DS models) eg tilt left for rpm, tilt right for flight mode and remaining time, tilt up for altitude
- assign specific channel to receiver output - eg get channel 8 from a REX3 three channel receiver
- set up the trim tab buttons as extra switches
The accelerometer and voice output are extra cost options for DS-12 and DS-14.

Thank you Acrow for your information.
so I need the full option upgrade package for the DS12, especially the voice command feature!
I wonder if I don't buy any upgrade now, would it be possible to buy the package later and do the upgrade myself?
And is it possible to buy individual upgrade instead of a whole package?

if you go to the Jeti software web site you can view the prices for each item.
You can buy individually or in packages with discounts.
You can add items individually when you find you need them.
Again, this flexibility is an additional feature of Jeti's lower priced models (DS-12, DC-14, DS-14). It is why I purchased a DS-14 rather than the DS-16 before the DS-12 was released.

You can purchase any of the single options or one of the packets now or later, as you like.
And therefore I would suggest to go thru the list, and tick each feature on which you see any value for your normal TX use. Now, not in some far future.
After that you get an indication if it is worth to buy one of the packets. E.g. for me that was not the case, so I decided to buy some few features only.
Just keep in mind, getting the needed license file after purchasing it might take some days.
It is unfortunately not possible to buy it on the field and activate it immediately.
Might be a later improvement on the Jeti Shop ....
Regards
Dirk

Thank you for your information Dirk.
I have already settled in Jeti, originally on DS12 carbon.
However, after some studies about the system and pricing, I am in dilemma again whether I should pick DS12 carbon or DC16 G2 ?
For VAT free and all the accessories counting, there is only Euro 140 difference between them (Full option on DS12), and I get more switches and control knobs on the DC16 G2, and a console style transmitter for my glider (need extra tray for DS12).
The DC16 looks more professional, but heavier and bulkier for me to carry it up the hill........
What do you guys think?
Are the switches in DS12 enough for large scale gliders purpose?
Thanks
