DS 16 Frontplatte ausbauen

With everything disassembled except for the faceplate, I started with the hole for one of the sticks. I applied heat with a hairdryer and slowly peeled it off with a thin plastic spatula. It takes time, but if you don't rush, it comes off intact.

You also have to get some new double side paper.

So nothing is screwed in place, right?
I just need to remove all the knobs and then slowly start loosening the plate with a spatula through one of the gimbal holes?


Awesome — that sounds just like iPhone repairs 😂
The good thing is that the heat is safe for the PCBs as well, so I don’t even need to remove them.
