Thank you,
yes, the topic is from 2013...but it describes exactly our experience with this behaviour. It wasn´t common to us and would a later date change something? A new firmware update, even with the option "factory defaults" doesn´t change anything.
I guess I started to understand what is going on here. Please go to the Stick/Switch Setup page, choose switch SC, configure preflight position as "down / off" and try to start the transmitter in the down position - it´s impossible. BUT, i guess Jeti tried to rescue this case with the term "off". As you see in the graphical animation of this switch, backward position is on (check-mark) and forward position is displayed with a cross (off). In this case the logic follows the on and off position/naming, which depends on the selected switch. Some switches are logicaly programmed in the usual back=off and forward=on direction and some do not on DS transmitters! I GUESS this is the way Jeti took care about the "one firmare for all transmitters" philosophy. Maybe they had to turn some switches to take care about cable routing etc, so every switch should be configured as shown in the on mid off animation.
It would be nice to setup switch directions in this menu. Honestly, I know it´s not necessary because we can setup every function by moving the switch in the desired direction, but it would improve the usual logical understanding of switch positions.
