thanks a lot for sharing your fantastic diy project!
I ordered the MPXV7002DP and will try to use weekend for setting all up.
Regarding the length of the two tubes, I have the following question:
- Is it possible to use longer ones?
- is there a maximum length for both tubes, which should never be exceeded?
- does the length have any negative impact on resolution or accuracy?
the principle is he same and the hardware might be similar. Tubing lenght does not matter. Theý should be almost the same lenght since is differential pressure.
Best regards

Hi Tero, Rainer,
I just want to let you know my diy session last weekend was successfull, my version of sensor "RCT-Airspeed" works fine.
I have tested it in my lab, using a hairdryer (small traveler version)....
Regarding length of tubes...
The total weight of Prandtl pipe, tubes and electronics is so low, that I plan to place all in left wing of a single-engined aircraft, and extend the 3 wire connection to EX port of receiver.....
today I could test RCT Airspeed Sensor during testflight.
See following picture for installation of sensor
See after flight analysis of recorded log data in Jeti Studio:
Plane: Multiplex PC 6 Turbo Porter
TX: DC16, FW 4.22
Now I know, that my PC6 is a real tractor, speeding up to max. 80km/h during steep approach (from height around 400m down to ground, no flaps set) ,see 5:min20s in diagramm
