Hallo zusammen,

Dear all,
I'm working on a rather challenging mix, at least for me.
I'm working on a twin, where both motors are linear. The general Idea is to use both motors for takeoff, and then be able to either proportionally control motor 2 or idle it when needed.
Ideally, I would like to use the throttle to control both motors but use one of the knobs to control how much of motor 2 is actually used.
Just to give you an idea:
Throttle down: both motors off, regardless of knob.
Throttle up: motor 1 full, motor 2 proportional based on knob. Knob:50%, motor 2:50%.
Thottle center: motor 1 50%, motor 2 proportional based on knob. Knob:50%, motor 2:25%.
I had limited success using two free crossed mixes:
Mix1 throttle on motor 2, 100%
Mix2 motor2 on throttle: 100%,
But I'm getting nowhere.
Thanks in advance.

Look here:
1.) Basic Property with two engines.
2.) Standard Function assignment sample Mode 4
3.) Two equal Mixers: Throttle to Throttle
With following options:
Switch P6 knob for fine adjustment:
See sample model file attached.
Sorry for my poor English.
With greets

First of all, thank you all for the help and for the great answer! This is exactly what I was looking for. I tried the combination you suggested and it works flawlessly!
Only to understand, why two mixes? I tried to delete one of them, and the result is, effectively, wrong. I fail to understand the logic behind. I presume has something to do with the asymmetric mix, but ...
thanks again
