Hello Guys,
I think this is a really difficult one. At least Google is this time not my friend.
I have a Powerbox GPS 2 installed in my jet and I really want to see the data in Google maps/earth or other Maps application.
I downloaded the "log" data from my DS-16 but then what?
How can I visualize my flight path in maps?
I really don't have any clue.
Is it possible on a Mac?
Thanks for help!!!!

hi didier
I might not be of great help as I don't know the Powerbox GPS2, sorry ... but some general thoughts.
so first question for me would be, what kind of data is saved (format) and where.
google maps for mac is no problem and in my case the choice for visualisation of GPS data as I am working on mac preferred.
I own a GPS logger 2 from sm modellbau.this logger has an individual sd card and saves the files on it's own.
a special sowftare is provided from sm-modellbau that reads these files and has a one-click-convert-to-google-maps-file option, unfortunately only for windows so I have to use an older win machine for export.
and as sm provides other loggers as well, e.g. the unilog2 wich I use in combination with the gps for paramateres like A / V / Single cell V ... the export file than contains the unilog data as well. finally I can open the exported file on the mac in googlemaps and see all flight telemetry according to the related GPS data.
so once again, sorry not to be of better help, but the best way IMHO to gogle for a solution is to check which format your GPS data is, where it s stored and how to convert it into google format.
rgds and good luck

Hello Guido,
Thanks for your answer.
There is no SD-card in the GPS of powerbox, so the data is logged in my DS-16.
Here is a screenshot of the data.
I suppose you can convert the data, but I don't know which data has to be convert and in which program.
Thanks for your help!

... me again
just googled it and it seems that data is saved via preconfigured jeti-ex setting in the jeti log.
for that you must tell the DC/DS to store this data in the log as well and not only display it.
so you should have than the jeti.log file that should - opened in a texteditor - show some kind of GPS data.
if that works it needs to be figured out how to convert these data to google maps format.
not sure wether the DataExplorer or Telemetrie Analyzer can do that.

I can't upload the file, but make a sample of a screenshot in the early post.
EDIT: seems the files are uploaded.
