Hallo Stephan, ich wollte auf Englisch schreiben weil ich denke, die Jeti Leuten sollten dieses auch mitlesen. Was du schreibst, stimmt leider nicht:

"Wenn Du Modell A und B einschaltest und dann den Sender, ordnet er sich mit dem letzten Gesteuerten Modell zu, in dem Beispiel A.
Jedoch: er bringt danach die Meldung: unbekanter Empfaenger entdeckt- verbinden? Wenn du jetzt Ja sagst, ordnet er mit Modell B zu, wenn Du Nein auswaehlst, bleibt er bei A"

This is unfortunately not the case. DC-16 likes for some reason rec B much more than rec A. Every time rec A and B are on offer at the same time, DC-16 choose the B. Even rec A was the last controlled and DC-16 works with model memory A. If I say "No" for the connection question, it just ask again in few seconds. I can't connect with A before I totally turn-off rec B. This can be reproduced as many time I like.

If I Interchange A and B, it works fine. Maybe B has been paired originally before A, I don't remeber anymore.

regards,
Juha

Hello, you should always first turn on your transmitter and after that turn on your model with only one model bound to a single Tx module at a time. After the tx boots, it searches for available receivers paired with this transmitter. The receiver, which responds first, is then offered to the user to confirm. Some receiver types answer earlier than other (EX/non EX) ,maybe that's the reason why you see only only the receiver B.

Hello,

I encountered the same Problem and was searching for a solution. Obviously there is none at the moment.

In my actual case, I have bound some small helis and test them at home. In Addition, I have connected a RSAT to my PC as SIM Interface. Means, this RX is powered on all the time as the conection is made on the back side USB Interface.

When I want to Setup one of my models with a previous bound RX, DC-16 always asks me if I want to bind the RSAT which is not my Intention.
And this questioning is absolutely annoying as the TX never stops asking.

My proposal would be to implement a uniqe binding ID as many other vendors have implemented. This would not Change the logic and make sure, one model Memory is bound just and only with one specific RX.

Would be a great improvement of user comfort.

And please excuse my upper and lower letter Problem. New IE 10 with integrated grammer correction installed

Hallo all, At the Weekend i had a model crash:

I started (6m K8b) in aerotowing and flew about 5 minutes after. i was using the mvario and had the height and climb rate displayed on the yetibox during the full flight time (activated prior to start). Suddenly the transmitter module (MC 24 with jeti module) starts beeping- no signal. i have not been able to control the model... crash followed after some circles on a beton wall....

first thought: battery voltage to low: no, both packs (undamaged after impact 4x eneloop 5,5V)

second thought: receiver defect: connect reciever to power: no signal... a friend told me to try to bind the reciever: reciever works!

we were confused about that. we made a range test. very good result...

a friend told, that he just switched on his transmitter at the moment when i got problems...than i remebered that i saw the "pairing" page when i wanted to go to the Mvario indication at the jetibox while the model was standing on the ground. i did not want to use the pairing function but i am not shure if i pushed the "up" button before i went back to the mvario view.

so we made a test:

my system working normally, go to pairing mode via jetibox, push up button until "..." visble, leave paring display, go to mvario display on jetibox. everything ok, system working normally. then we switched on the jeti transmitter of the friend. transmitter asked "new unknown reciever found", we switched off the transmitter immediately, but nevertheless the connection from my transmitter to my reciever has been broken.

1. I think it is VERY dangerous, that the sytem stays in the pairing mode while it is no longer indicated in the display. I would prefer if leaving the display "pairing" immediately to stop new transmitter search AND stop searching after (for example) 20 seconds while having the pairing displayed...

2. is there a possibility to get a software / update without the pairing function? (i want only use the bindplug...)

3. apart from that i am very happy with the jeti system, would be great to get a solution for that safety issue!

Hi Daniel!

Which firmware version is on that receiver? I believe that Jeti already made an effort to change this procedure. I think with the latest RX firmware you need to press 2 buttons at the same time to start the pairing.

Hi Daniel,

frist sorry for the loss ! But you pressed during flying your model the "Pairing" buttom and the systems did excatly what you wanted/pressed = RX in your flying modell went into pairing modus and your friend got it . Never press "Pairing" at TX/JJeti Box if you just are flying with the model !!

Really "shit".. you pressed pairing in the air and just that time your friend at the ground switched ON his TX and got your model.

In Jeti TX there is already a 60 second limit and than after 60 seconds system switched OFF pairing modus.
