Hi!
I guess that 'hearing' takes more efforts than 'seeing'. If I do not remember to which switch a function was assigned, I have to try all switches in order to hear what their assigned functions are. If their function is shown on a display below the switch, one single look is enough to find the function.
Moreover, for most of the functions does not exist a fitting sound file, because they are too distinct and custom-made. So I have to record a sound file, what is more complicanted than naming the function in the transmitter itself.
Where to define what is displayed? Well, Jeti must add an apropriate function somewhere in the menu, e.g. in "Stick setup". I think that this would be the smallest problem in implementing that kind of feature, which realy would be an USP!

Hi Kai,
you can create every WAV sound you personally want. With Ivona Software; Marlene voice costs about 50 EURO.
I think hearing is better than seeing; especially during flight. I think that switching some switches at the ground to hear takes not much more time in relation to look under each switch with an display.
I sent the ideas to Jeti; but I think the possibility with sound will give each Jeti TX user a perfect way to check.
Regards

Hi PW,
thanks for forwarding the idea! Let's see what Jeti does
Your are right, when flying, 'hearing' might be better. I also recorded individuals sounds yet, it is a brilliant feature, no doubt!
But beeing at home, I sometimes tried to remember what kind of programming I did, what could be easier 'seen' than 'heard'.
Let's wait what will happen
