Hi
Im looking for a new transmitter, i primary fly gliders f5j, f3f, f3k.
So have some questions:
- I think that a DS14 will fit my needs, what do you think?
- Also want to know, for a full carbon glider (explorer 3 f5j) its ok REX7 receiver?
- If i understand correctly the duplex concept in ds14, two RF transmitters exist on the system and the two are used to communicate with the receiver, so kind of redundant communication, its correct?
Thanks!

Hi,
in this forum you can write notes for Jeti - they will not answer here directly. (it's more for feature requests, bug reports, ...)
But I will try to anser you questions and maybe a mod can move the thread.
Q: I think that a DS14 will fit my needs, what do you think?
A: Perfectly!
Q: Also want to know, for a full carbon glider (explorer 3 f5j) its ok REX7 receiver?
A: Sure! The older R9 receiver fit also very well in a small fuselage. Or you use a REX6 or R6.
Q: If i understand correctly the duplex concept in ds14, two RF transmitters exist on the system and the two are used to communicate with the receiver, so kind of redundant communication, its correct?
A: If you use one receiver the two HF modules will swap, so both are in use for redundancy. You can also use two receivers for 2-Way-HF communication (I think this option is an update for DS/DC14)
Bye Manuel
