Stronger springs? wurde erstellt von pvogel

I have the gimbal springs set as tight as possible and still don't have the tension I would like on my DC-16 sticks. Does anyone know where I can get stronger springs that will fit the Jeti gimbals? I tried a set of futaba heavy duty springs but they have too large a diameter which causes interference with the center return after movement in one direction.

Thanks!

I found some springs that work.

www.mcmaster.com/nav/enter.asp?partnum=9654K942 -- for slightly harder pull
www.mcmaster.com/nav/enter.asp?partnum=9654K941 -- for much harder pull -- this is what I'm currently using.

are you kidding? .... Wow -> I actually prefer to have more direct control and less strong spring tension. I normally put mine to a level where they would not accidentally move but just that much.

Not kidding. We all have our preferences. I fly the lower classes of F3A (precision aerobatics) and find the tight springs prevent accidental cross control and give me much more precise control over the airplane.

response was not meant too serious. Still amazed since that means quite strong tension. ;)
