Sorry, my German is not good enough, so I will answer in English, if that is OK - but please reply in German!
I have push buttons on both shoulders of my transmitter, and I press the left button to activate Launch mode when I throw the plane. After I release the button the plane enters Zoom mode where it tracks straight up. When I move the elevator, then it enters the selected glide mode (Float, Cruise or Speed). I select the glide mode with a 3-position switch which I have moved to the left side just over the left stick.
Flaps are deactivated during Launch and Zoom, and if the throttle stick is back, then I need to move it forward (no flap) to re-activate flaps. That makes it easy to tip catch for quick relaunch.
I use throttle trim to adjust camber in the selected flight mode.
