R5L in clone en REX12A in default

Dear Jeti friends.

For my glider I have a question.
My glider is equipped with a REX12A.
For my dolly with steering wheel, I want to use a R5L in clone mode. I can’t get it to work. When the glider is powered and the R5L as well, only the glider works. If I switch off the glider, the dolly (R5L) works.
But they don’t work at the same time. Fail safe is off of the R5L.
Is it because the R5L is not a REX rx?

Yes, it is. I double checked it with a Jetibox. If I switch off the glider (Rex12A), the Dolly (R5L) works.

did you assign the servos channels correctly? E.g. assist 1-12, clone 13-15.

Hello Kai.

I don’t understand exactly what you mean. As the R5L has only 5 physical servoports. I want to use servoport 5 for the steering servo of the dolly (so in servo assignment #5 is for the steering servo).

you can assign any channel to the servoports - there is no restriction at all.

But if the R5 only works when the REX is off - either the R5 is not in clone mode or something I can't imagine is wrong.

I'dreset the R5 to factory defaults, bind it to the TX and set it in clone mode once again.
