MEZO EVO and RPM control wurde erstellt von Hans Meij

Hi,

Currently the D3 controller is popular in the F3A scene.
This controller realizes a rpm control proportional to the stick setting.

This spring I attended a Jeti-demo day at Aerobertics in Belgium.
The representative told me that the EVO series will have this behaviour incorporated too.

However in the (quick) manual it is stated that brake is according to stick position.
As if the brake is only activated by taking the throttle back.
The D3 is constantly in governor mode and will brake in downlines without taking the stick back.

So I'm a bit usure if the EVO could be used as a replacement for the D3.

Regards,
Hans

(Bought the DC24 II also because of the nice help from your representatives)

From your manual:
===============
Brake strength depend on throttle position in this mode.
This function provides activeplane speed stabilizing for downline
figures. It`s similar as cruise control of car, but demanded speed
depend on throttle position. Back nergy recovering into
accumulator is automatically enable in this mode.

I have no info about Mezons, but similar function is offered by Ibex:
You set the heli mode, minimum stick RPM and maximum stick RPM, and the stick position determines the final prop revolutions. Rpm will remain constant even when flying down.
