I have been struggling with 'not so perfect' telemetry all season.
I upgraded my DS16 to DS24 FW 4.27/28, upgraded REX3 receivers to FW1.10 and took my Arcus Race flying, low Q, LOST SIGNAL, all the messages you don't want.
Last year everything was running perfect, what the f***
Switched one REX3 back to a REX7 which I had used before, no change.
Analyzed logfiles, receivers had good signal and I had control, but still not nice to get the warnings during the flight.
For my first GPS-Triangle competition this season I brought my second DS24 and switched to that one, trying to identify if it was the transmitter being the issue, but no change.
Finished my SB14 where antenna placement is 'easy', went flying and had the same experience, warnings and several holes in the logfile
Check Jetiforum, no mention of the issue, what am I doing wrong?
Finally a cry for help came from a fellow team member (Daniel Aeberli) Saturday, "My vario isn't working half of the time".
He also did the same update, going from DS16 to DS24, but didn't report any issues, happy pilot until this Saturday.
Change last week, upgrade of REX3 to FW 1.10.
At the same time I was flying my tow plane with a REX12 assist and a Rsat2, 100%Q and no holes at all in the logging, hmmmmmmm
Sunday morning I downgraded my REX3's to firmware 1.03 and took my SB14 for a flight, I managed to provoke 1 hole in the logging otherwise the vario was there all the time.
SB14 log with 2*REX3 running Firmware 1.10 (Climb and flying 500m GPS-Triangle course)
Exact same configuration and airfield with Firmware 1.03
