I would really like the trainer function to work with the ppm input on the Jeti radios. It would allow Jeti owners to train people with any brand of radio and really increase the flexibility of the DS and DC radios. I am an instructor at my club and currently have to make a number of custom mixes to allow my DS16 to act as a teacher for other people to fly on my equipment, but can not get a good throttle setup with them. Having access to the trainer function would make it much easier.

When you have problems with the translation, you can send a PN to Kupferdings. He can speak/write English very well.

Hello Eury,
I know your problem very well. I'm an instructor at my club as you are.
For the time being my best recommendation is to use some kind of "universal buddy box". It is basically a box containing a jeti TU module and a small microcontroller to create a PPM signal from four single channels. So you can plug any receiver (from the system your student uses) to that box and connect the box to your DC/DS16.
The article posted by Schiwo is your starting point to have the ability to connect such a buddy box to your DC/DS16. In addition please read my following thread on this forum: Vorstellung: Universelle Lehrer / Schüler Box . As stated below, you can use a translator to read the post.
Please feel free to ask if you encounter any problem with the translator, I'll be more than happy to help you and explain things.
Cheers,

Thanks for the replies. I've been able to make it work using the ppm input to hook up other brands of radios and some custom mixes, however it is not ideal, especially since I haven't been able to figure out a way to make a mix to completely replace my throttle input with one from the student transmitter. Using a Jeti module would be great, unfortunately they are not legal or sold here in the USA, so it's not an option.
